I extend my New Year's greetings to our valued citizens residing in Rwanda and to all Rwandans, wishing them health and happiness. I hope the New Year brings peace and tranquility.

We spent 2025 as a productive year, with contacts between Türkiye and Rwanda reaching their highest level following the invitation extended by our President to the President of the Republic of Rwanda H.E. Paul Kagame, and the implementation of significant cooperation projects in various fields.

We continued our efforts to advance the volume of economic and commercial relations between the two countries. We encouraged and supported the initiatives of various institutions, including the private sector, to create cooperation opportunities.

Our efforts to establish new collaborations in cultural and academic fields continued intensively. With the contributions of the Yunus Emre Institute Rwanda Coordination Office, we carried out various events. We partially realized the potential contributions that institutions such as TIKA and YTB can make to Rwanda's capacity-building efforts.

Through these activities and occasions such as national days, we continued our interaction with our valued citizens.

I hope that 2026 will be a year in which the friendly relations between Türkiye and Rwanda are further strengthened, and I thank you for your contributions in this direction.
