No: 84, 21 March 2017, Press Release Regarding The Statement of The Director of Federal Intelligence Service of The Federal Republic of Germany on the 15th July Coup Attempt and FETO

Republic Of Türkiye Ministry Of Foreign Affairs 21.03.2017

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany was summoned today to the Ministry where he was told about our strong reaction to the statement by the Director of Intelligence Service of the Federal Republic of Germany, who claims that he was not persuaded that FETO was behind the July 15th coup attempt.

All the evidence, including the testimonies of putschists that reveal their affiliation with FETO recordings of communication among coup plotters before and on the night of coup attempt as well as FETO affiliated civilians captured at Akıncılar base, are solid.

Hundreds of FETO members, mainly several prosecutors, judges and polices, who impinged basic principles of law, victimized hundreds of innocent people through illegitimate wiretapping and false documents in line with the objectives of FETO, are still in Germany.

The statement of the Director of Intelligence Service of the Federal Republic of Germany exposes the mentality behind the condoning and protectionist approach of Germany towards FETO.
