Embassy of the Republic of Turkey is pleased to inform that starting from April 2016, the Embassy started issuing Turkish visas for Rwandan citizens.

In order to apply for a Turkish visa, you need to follow the steps below:

• Go to the web page: https://www.visa.gov.tr/
• Choose your language from the top right corner
• Choose “Rwanda” as the country and “Embassy in Kigali” as the Embassy you are going to apply to.
• Click Visa Pre-Application from Visa menu. (https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/Visa)
• Follow instructions, fill up the forms and upload your photo as well as all documents asked.
• At the end of your Pre-Application, a Pre-Application Form with a Reference Number, your photo and information you provided will be available for you to download in pdf file format. Download this file, print it out and sign it.
• IMPORTANT: Get an Appointment:
  With your Passport Number and the Reference Number on your Pre-Application Form, which is supposed to be sent to your e-mail address as well, choose a date for your appointment from the available dates that the system suggests through https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/Appointment/AppointmentList
• IMPORTANT: Bring your passport, national ID card, 2 photos and all the documents you uploaded online with you to your appointment. Please note that the Embassy may request additional documents and statements for your application.
  

Please note:

• Visa fees are not refundable in case your visa is denied/rejected
• All applicants must have medical travel insurance that must be valid during their stay in Turkey.
• In order to avoid any inconvenience that may be caused by delay in processing, it is recommended to apply for visa at least one month before the departure date.
• All applicants must have biometric passport photos (American size), and a flight booking.
• Citizens who have a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa and/or residence through planned stay in Turkey, are strongly recommended to get their visa online: www.evisa.gov.tr. (30 USD for single entry, to be paid with a Credit Card). Those above do not need to go to the Turkish Embassy to get their visa.
